MembershipThe Arizona State Society DAR welcomes any woman who is interested in membership! Membership is an excellent way to honor and preserve the legacy of your Patriot ancestor. When you become a member, you have the opportunity to contribute your talents and interests to your community through service projects in the areas of historic preservation, education, patriotism, and to make life-long friends.
The DAR welcomes women of all ages, races, and creeds. Please complete our Membership Interest Form so that our state membership chair may contact you and direct you to a DAR chapter in your area. |
Eligibility
An applicant for membership must be no less than 18 years of age and can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence.

ChaptersThere are 42 DAR chapters in Arizona. If you are interested in becoming a chapter daughter, becoming an associate member, or being a guest at any Arizona chapter meeting, please find a conveniently located chapter by visiting our Find a Chapter page. Daughters are not required to live in the city or state associated with the chapter in which they join.
